Baheda (Bibhitaki/Bedda Nut) Powder helps in hair-growth and reduces dandruff. This is because of its Kashaya (astringent) and Ruksha (dry) properties. It helps reduce excess oil and keeps the scalp dry to stop the expansion of dandruff. Baheda Powder is very helpful for its role for skin issues such as acne and acne scars due to its anti-bacterial property.
Suggested Uses for Hair & Skin
Hair Loss/Dandruff Care: – Take Baheda Powder, Add rose water or honey and make a paste. Apply to hair and scalp. Wait for 2-3 hours and then wash thoroughly with tap water. Repeat this twice a week to reduce dandruff and to encourage natural hair-care. Hair Growing Mask: – Mix Baheda Powder and HerbtoniQ Jatamansi Powder with lukewarm water and make a paste. Apply this paste on your hair and leave it for 1-2 hours and wash it off with normal water. This will make it shinier, supple and also helps in healthy development of hair.
Acne and Acne Scars: – Take 1 teaspoon Baheda Powder. Add rose water to make a paste and apply on the affected area. Wait for 20-30 min. and then wash with tap water. Repeat this 2-3 times a week to reduce acne and acne- scars. Skin Glow Pack: – Mix a tablespoon of Baheda Powder, a tablespoon of honey, a pinch of HerbtoniQ Wild Turmeric and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply it on a face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and clean with a soft towel.
